COMPACT is a new collection of washbasins designed by the COSMIC STUDIO and where functionality is combined with contemporary design.

After the success of the Waterproof collection, COSMIC endeavours to intensify cleanliness and simplicity by creating a new bathroom line made in BathStone (a mixture of aluminium hydroxide, marble powder and polyester and acrylic synthetic resins), a highly resistant material that is easy to maintain and allows an optimum preservation of parts. It is designed to combine simple forms that include additional functions such as towel holders or storage space in a single component. It is this linking of different elements that gives it its name COMPACT.

The collection is made up of an extensive range of models and sizes. Washbasins with single or double basins, with drawers, or integrated towel holders, in smaller sizes, more conventional sizes for the home or extra large models for luxury projects with more space. And in addition, it is complemented by three shower tray models; making this collection a generous and comprehensive one for all kinds of users and requirements.

The ISH fair took place recently from 6 to 10 March. This is the international bathroom fair of reference and is attended by the most important names in the sector.

For the occasion we presented our newest lines in washbasins, COMPACT and BATH LIFE, and bathroom furniture, BLOCK, as well as the latest collections of bathroom complements BI and DROP.

Our stand recreated a sophisticated atmosphere where objects were transposed into an intimate and suggestive world, reflecting our new image campaign. Against this backdrop we enjoyed meeting our main international distributors again and a large number of visitors and prescribers who approached to show their interest in our latest offer.

CONSTRUMAT (Barcelona)

On 14 to 16 May we were present at the CONSTRUMAT fair and formed part of the first Bathroom Concept that welcomed over 200 exhibitors.

Thousands of people visited our stand (distributors, architects, representatives etc.) and all were treated to a look at the latest products presented at ISH in March and an exclusive presentation of our accessories collection PROJECT along with the new global bathroom concept UPGRADE.

Ours BLOCK collection have been prizewinner of the prestigious award DESIGN PLUS 2007, this prize has been awarded by the German Design Council in collaboration with Messe Frankfurt.

This award acknowledges not only the most outstanding, innovative and attractive products, but also and especially the products that offer a design quality plus. For this reason, the jury consisting of important members related to the industrial design, architecture, specialised press and business world, base their votes on values such as design, utility, technical and ecologic quality, etc. as well as on the global product concept.

All the awarded designs were exhibited during the ISH fair in Frankfurt.
