Cosmic is awarded again with the prestigious award Design Plus given by the German Design Council in collaboration with Messe Frankfurt. In this occasion the prize went to the bathroom furniture collection FLOW, designed by Martin Ruiz de Azua for Cosmic.

This award acknowledges not only the most outstanding, innovative and attractive products, but also and especially the products that offer a design quality plus. For this reason, the jury consisting of important members related to the industrial design, architecture, specialised press and business world, base their votes on values such as design, utility, technical and ecologic quality, etc. as well as on the global product concept.

FLOW is a return to the organic and natural; washbasins with undulatingly suggestive forms, designed to model the movement of water, like rocks or stones with the ebb of rivers, with continuous surfaces so the water can flow away from all points. BathStone has been used, in a gloss or matt finish; an exclusive material superior to the touch and highly resistant and hygienic.

The furniture provides a wide range of colours; besides of the wengue, oak and coal finishings, we have extended it with glossy lacquered colours in black, white, mink and off white. Inside they hold additional perspectives: ample spaces, thanks to a hidden drainage system that makes full use of the drawers as well as innovative storage solutions such as an inner drawer with dividing elements that helps to order objects in an easier way for their daily use.

The collection is complemented with adjustable mirrors that permit the angle of focus to be altered and taps designed in harmony with the washbasins.

The construction details are of a high quality and functionality, such as total extraction rails in all drawers, pneumatic cushioned closing (self-close) and a buffered final closing system (soft-close).

The new FLOW Collection by COSMIC brings a new aesthetic dimension to the bathroom, based on a return to the sensuality of nature, diffused by a radical functionality.

The prize-giving will take place during the ISH fair at Hall 4.2 on March 10th where all the prized collections will be exhibited until March 14th.
